Business schema

A few lines of code tell Google your hours, address and phone number in a way it can’t misread. Fill in what applies, copy the block, and paste it into your site once. Nothing leaves your browser.

Instagram, Facebook, Yelp, your Google Maps link: anything that is clearly you.

}
</script>

Add your business name to copy it.

Where to paste it

It goes in your site’s head, the hidden part of every page, once. Visitors never see it; Google reads it to confirm your name, address, hours and links match your listing.

  • Squarespace: SettingsAdvancedCode Injection, in the Header box.
  • Wix: SettingsCustom codeAdd code, placed in Head, on all pages.
  • WordPress: a header-and-footer plugin such as WPCode, in the header section.
  • Shopify: Online StoreThemesEdit codetheme.liquid, just above </head>.

Afterwards, put your website into Google’s Rich Results Test to check it reads cleanly. If your hours change, come back and swap the block out.
