A little cold couldn’t stop us. The #BeAGoodFriend float took home third place at the Greater Hartford St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

The #BeAGoodFriend Toy Drive
Local businesses open their doors as collection sites, and the gifts go to children and families across Connecticut.
The 6th annual drive in 2025 delivered more than 700 gifts, our most successful yet.

The Friends of Feeney Golf Tournament
Chairman Matt Heller manages our annual golf tournament, a fundraiser for Friends of Feeney.
The 3rd annual tournament in 2024 raised more than $20,000.
Year after year
Parades and the #BeAGoodFriend float
Dozens of friends march alongside a float that carries the motto in giant letters, built and towed with help from local sponsors. We’ve marched in the Park Road Parade, the Hartford St. Patrick’s Day Parade and the West Hartford Memorial Day Parade.
At St. Patrick’s Day 2025 we marched with our largest parade group ever. In 2026 the float took third place.

Birdies for Charity
Through the 2025 campaign, we received 115% of donations made through our charity page, thanks to Webster Bank sponsoring the 15% match.
In 2024 we raised over $7,000.

The #BeAGoodFriend mural at Parkville Market
A Starry Night–themed spin on the #BeAGoodFriend logo, designed and painted by Julie Bergeron of RiseUP for Arts with help from a group of local elementary school children.
It’s a permanent fixture in “The Local” bar at Parkville, unveiled during a live performance in the Be A Good Friend Rock the Lock concert series.
