Pick your court

Juniors climb a ball-color pathway, adults train by rating, and pickleball has its own coach and courts. Every group is capped at six players per coach.

Why Modern

The same three rules apply to a five-year-old in red ball and a 4.0 doubles player.

Certified coaches

Every coach holds a national teaching certification, passes a background check and teaches the level they know best.

Max 6 per coach

Small groups mean more balls hit and more feedback heard. When a group fills, we open another time rather than add a seventh player.

Progression-based

Players move up when they pass clear skill checkpoints, not when the calendar says so. Every player gets a written progress card each session.

Starting soon

The winter session runs November to January, indoors and under the Elmwood dome.

Good questions

Anything else, call the front desk at (860) 555-0135.

How does the free trial work?

Pick any group session with an open spot and come once, free. If it is the right fit, we apply the trial toward the full session price. If not, there is nothing to cancel.

My child has never played. Where do they start?

Ages 4 to 7 start in red ball, 7 to 9 in orange ball. Older beginners start in green dot. After two sessions the coach will tell you if a different group would suit them better.

What is NTRP, and how do I know my level?

NTRP is the rating system used for adult tennis, from 1.5 to 7.0. If you are unsure, choose the clinic that sounds closest. Coaches check levels in week one and will move you at no cost.

What happens if it rains or snows?

Winter sessions are indoors or under the Elmwood dome, so weather rarely cancels anything. If we do cancel, we add a makeup week at the end of the session.

Can I miss a week?

Yes. Juniors and adults can make up a missed class in any same-level group that has room during the same session.

Do you have sibling or multi-session discounts?

Siblings get 10% off the second registration. Adults who sign up for two clinics in the same session get 10% off the second one.
